Dukjukdo "Island of Deep Water"

... and this is exactly what we found. an island with a tidal change of about 25 feet. the cliff we jumped in the afternoon was a sea of rocks and sand 5 hours later.
we enjoyed our little holiday, celebrating Korean thanksgiving (Chusuk), with a few other friends as well. it reminded us of BC - we were surrounded by mountains and the ocean.

a kimchi hut, with two kimchi pots burried in the ground. koreans let kimchi ferment in these and access them as often as needed to prepare meals

the greatest thing we have ever received for free!

our bedroom - the fan above the bed is our greatest buy yet.

living room - every furnishing you see was free. what a blessing! notice the kimchi pot on the right beside the fan
