Mud Festival

Mud Fest is a annual festival which involes mud slides, mud wrestling, mud painting, mud jails, mud surfing, mud wars.... and more mud and fun. Thousands of people come out each year, foreigners and Koreans alike.

Reuben is the one on the ground taking out the girls. The guys only made one girl cry...

The beauties covered in mud.

Statues or real? This truck was busy moving mud from its source to the slides and mud pits all day.

Mud Fest cont.

We didn't play in the mud all day - we also had our fun laying in the sun and swimming in the ocean. I dont think i have even seen such a crowed beach. We attemped body surfing when the waves got big, but after a while ramming into people wasn't so much fun.

this wooden bench was only 30 bucks for the day

Mud fest put on some excellent fire works - i think we were all taken by surprise.

here the crew we were with, all with burnt faces, backs and shoulders, but we had fun!

Korean Friends

These are our dear friends and family here. Sung Kyun, Mi Kyoung, Louis and Annie. We had them over for tacos! They enjoyed the meal so much that louis wants mom to make it at home.

After dinner we played a traditional Korean game called YUT. You throw these stick in the air, and depending how they fall you can move so many spaces. The key is to 'catch' the other team and knock them off the borad.

Girls vs boys, best of three. Can you guess who won?

Playing at the Park

Here is our friend Tiffany and I enjoying the the sunshine, reading and watching the boys play bball. The boys are always meeting down at the park to play ball. We are sure going to miss Sanbon when we move.
