we had our co-teachers over for a little mexi food, wine and fruit fondu.

Christmas Tree Time

reuben and i spent some time decorating our very little christmas tree. with our 15 foot ceilings it looks pretty dinky this year. the spirit of christmas is definitely in our home here, we have been pumping the christmas tunes!!!

we are so thankful that we wont be sitting in front of it alone on christmas day this year. we will be celebrating the birth the Jesus with our families back in Canada. yeah!

if you look closely you can see that it was even snowing a little bit as we were decorating

A 'Turkey' Meal

We gathered for a little celebration on Sunday night - both Americans and Canadians had fellowship over turkey (actually chicken), mashed potatos (mashed with a fork), cranberries, stove top stuffing and gravy (compliments of a friend from the Amercian base), and to top it all off, pumkin and apple pie (bought from costco).
We have many things to be thankful for - as we all shared - one thing being our dear friends who help make home seem not so far away.

Busan

thanks to our American school that celebrates thanksgiving we had a 4 day weekend. we headed down south for a few days to busan, a city on the south tip of korea. busan is the largest city next to seoul.

they call this beach the wakiki beach of korea.

we spent a few hours at the famous fish market. there are hundreds of little stands where you can buy any kind of sea life, dead or alive.

Songli Mountain

we went on a weekend trip with our favorite friends. we travelled about 3 hours south to a mountain in central korea. we hiked for the day, admired the beautiful leaves, and enjoyed a bicycle build for four.
