Hagar - Visit to Jeju 2


This island has the longest lava tube in the world - 13000 meters long. What you see at the end of this tube is a lava waterfall. So Cool!


Here is a living legend: a female diver. For thousands of years these ladies have been intrusted with the job of diving for different types of seaweed. They go with only a wetsuit, bag and knife.

Everywhere you go there seems to be seaweed drying out. It was usually drying out on the side of the road.


Jeju is a volcanic island. They have been very creative with the lava rock, using it for everything from fences around houses, separating farm land, steps and even buildings.

Another common thing drying is squid. Mmmm squid jerky! The average Korean intakes 200lbs of squid a year.
